Kastelic Shines: While fighting in the NHL isn’t necessarily what it used to be, on Saturday in Boston, there was one of the best fights of the season.
Bruins forward Mark Kastelic, who is a big boy at 6’4, and 234 pounds, came in hard on the forecheck on Detroit Red Wings defenceman Mo Seider, and next thing you know the flippers are off.
Seider is a big human himself at 6’2 and 210 pounds, however, this bout belonged to Kastelic Shines, who got his right hand free and threw some heavy haymakers.
You be the judge, was this one of the best tilts of the season?
Not only did Kastelic win the fight, the Bruins won the game in a shootout, and improve to 15-12-0 on the season, good for second place in the Atlantic Division, two points up on the Red Wings.
